Please see the following email i received from Mr Browne who is the housemaster of Roger House (which is the borading house right near the shed). Mr Browne is a top guy and I know wouldn't have sent this if it wasn't a big problem. The coaches and I do our best to shhhhhhhh! you in the mornings but can you please take some self control and monitor the volumes of your owns voices. Serial offenders, you know who you are.
James,
In the past I have withheld from sending this email, but
unfortunately this time I must please send.
Can I politely ask you, and your coaches to quieten the
voices of the girls as they walk past and setup for rowing outside of Rogers
Boarding House? I know your group has just started but, Saturday, yesterday and
in particular this morning, the volume levels of some of the girls awoke an
entire boarding house at 5.45am, as they walked past and set their boats up.
This is really not acceptable, and very inconsiderate to those that live close
to the Shed.
Please express to them, that the students, and staff of
Rogers House (in particular our Asst Housemaster who has a 4 week old baby
living on the top floor) really don’t appreciate being woken up so early. A
decrease in volume and a traffic noise would be much appreciated.
I look forward to hearing less, and hope your season is
successful.
Best regards,
Ian Browne (B.Bus. Sport Mgt ).
Sports Manager
Boarding Housemaster - Rogers (Yr 7)
Thanks girls. Please be concious of this at all training sessions.
